Helen Dardik is a professional illustrator, painter, and surface pattern designer based in Ottawa, Ontario. Born by the Black Sea, she has lived in Ukraine, Siberia, and Israel, where she first studied art and design. Her whimsical illustrations--she describes them as “vibrant, folksy, playful, toomuchery”-- are inspired by everything around her; from books and blogs to her children’s imagination.
